📖 Plot Summary
In a world where 80% of the human population possesses superpowers known as "Quirks," the profession of "Hero" has become a reality. However, young Izuku Midoriya falls into the unfortunate minority: he was born Quirkless. Despite facing constant ridicule from his peers and the crushing reality of his biology, Izuku dreams of becoming the world's greatest hero, modeled after his idol, the Symbol of Peace, All Might.
His life changes forever after a chance encounter with All Might himself. Recognizing the boy's unwavering courage and spirit of self-sacrifice, the legendary hero chooses Izuku as his successor to inherit the powerful Quirk, "One For All." The story follows Izuku's grueling journey as he enrolls in the prestigious U.A. High School, trains to master his volatile new power, and faces off against the sinister League of Villains that threatens to destroy society.
👥 Main Characters
Izuku "Deku" Midoriya
The protagonist of the series. Originally born without a Quirk, he is timid and tearful but possesses an incredible analytical mind and a heroic heart. He inherits "One For All," a power that grants him immense super strength, though he struggles to control it without injuring his own body.
Katsuki Bakugo
Izuku's childhood friend turned rival. He possesses the powerful "Explosion" Quirk, which allows him to secrete nitroglycerin-like sweat from his palms and detonate it. He is aggressive, arrogant, and incredibly talented in combat, constantly striving to be the undisputed number one hero.
Shoto Todoroki
A prodigy student at U.A. High. He wields the "Half-Cold Half-Hot" Quirk, giving him the ability to generate ice from his right side and fire from his left. He carries a complex emotional burden regarding his father, the number two hero Endeavor, which heavily influences his character arc.
All Might
The former Number One Hero and the "Symbol of Peace." He is Izuku's mentor and the previous holder of One For All. While he presents a muscular, smiling facade to the public, he hides a severe injury and a weakening form that forces him to search for the next generation of heroes.
